The Cal Lightweight Legacy Endowment is our long-term commitment: an early-stage endowment initiative dedicated to building financial stability to maximize the team’s competitive opportunities. We envision a future where Cal Lightweights have the tools, opportunities, and support to chase national titles, grow as leaders, and carry forward an experience that stayed with all of us.

Lightweight rowing takes grit, discipline, and enormous heart from athletes. However, a competitive program requires a financial foundation the team can rely on. We want to raise the financial floor to ensure the fundamentals never fluctuate so that the team can compound their competitiveness and success.
